How do you prep all the surfaces on a tractor for paint?

Yes hvlp, so far just Deere. Next is the 2940 then a 440C

We don't get too carried away. Steam pressure wash with most tin work removed. Sand blast. Sand whatever you can hit. These are just ol farm tractors not show specials lol.

Got to do a head gasket on my 706D. Would be a good time to paint it. It's just that the fenders aren't as good as the rest of the tractor(they came off one that was burned medium well).

There's a thread on redpower of a guy that's doing just that. Engine in mine only has 400 hours. It's getting Cat headbolts this time.
