Bench #1 covered in 2 141's :drink: Prob just going to sell or trade the parts off. Owner decided it will cost to much to rebuild 1 good one from the cobbled up rebuild he did of them. So I ended up with them for my labor on tear down and estimate.

MS260 holds pressure, but not vacuum.

Decomp plugged and impulse plugged as well.

Flywheel side seal, of course. Getting new oem seals now.

You get a lot of flywheel seals bad on 026/MS 260s bud? Seems like everyone I get with a leak is on the PTO side, but the bearing is almost always bad as well.

Got the Canadien 177 running (still need to fix the primer) and reassembled the MS440 with the new cylinder so I decided to tear into the Wright. Got it unstuck and it's cleaning up nicely!IMG_0707.JPG

No prob buddy.

The odd thing was that the saw held 15# of pressure without a hitch. I knew that the usual culprit was this seal, so I pooled some 2 stroke oil in the well/recessed area above the seal. Wish I took a video.

Under 15# of pressure, there was zero air escaping from the seal through the pool of oil. I put vac on it, and suddenly it held some vacuum. It sucked the oil in in about 15 seconds, then you could audibly hear it slurp and the vac fell again.

Here it is after the seals were replaced.

Next to my bench at the shop, Oregon
Working on a craftsman mower that has no drive.....hydrostatic.....belts are turning.....but the release lever for the free push seems to be jammed. Level just freely moves back and forth. Trans is full of oil to. Looks like we're pulling it.
Just ordered a ton of parts for a long term 064 project.
