But be careful not to get water in the crankcase.

just remember to blend important places.
If you got Husky G / JRed WH, Stihl Artic, I've experience generator issues after a steam wash, its just to blast as good as possible behind the flywheel.

I prefer to 'field strip' off the gingerbread. Wash off that stuff with mineral spirits.

Then, wash the carcass with solvent and finish with foaming engine degreaser and hose off with hot water from the laundry room.

I've never seen a heated handle here just not much call for them i guess I've taken pounds off the logger saws before some are good about maintenance some have never had the cover off to clean the air filter.

I like the 1.00 a can foaming shower cleaner first let it soak a few then rampage with a pressure washer homeowner saws are usually nice just fuel line or carb issues loggers saws have some damage sometimes that's hard to see under the filth.

No saw stuff...but did mount a bracket to my main workbench back shelves to hold the Dremel tools with flex shafts. They'll reach from the vice on this end to the other end of the benchtop. Tired of seeing 'em laying on the benchtop knocking over and dragging around the rest of the clusterphuck I got going on. Now I gotta cable-tie the cords and get them stashed behind the SMS solder/rework station. Looks as good a place as any to stash 'em.

Husky 372 xtorq. Owner said it just stopped running. Took muffler off and piston looked ok, had some carbon streaks. Tried pulling the recoil to see the rest of piston and it wouldn't move. Bottom end is locked up. By the looks of the bottom end there's very little oil getting down there. No oily residue on the crank rod at all. Con rod bearing is toast..

Bought some trash today, 80$ and they where mine...all of them with scored top end, some have hope, some not :D

345's, year 99 and year 03.

I've never build an clamshell engine before, not sure it will happen. Most likely the walbros and black coils will go for my 346's, but that 03 was a better looking saw tonight lol

More clamshells....those 40/45 clutches is ment for my 242's..... 45 year 96 and 40 year 89.

On the other side, maybe there was a reason why another dealer gave me a few freebie parts a while ago...

This one was also in the batch, 353G year 09, carbon scored. Lacked brake flag, clutch&drum and muffler.

Could be worse:

A bit sanding and the jug was fixed, just need to buy a new slug!

Any chance I could buy the "G" parts off your 353? I could send you a regular flywheel for the 353 too.
