Delete the gasket and take around .010 off base and that will get about .018 squish and good for about 20 more psi. Widen the intake and exhaust to about 65% and raise the transfers and exhaust back up to make up for the drop. Filed about .020 off key and advanced timing and pulled the goofy spark arresstor screen and drilled the arresstor nut outAre you just opening intake and exhaust or a full port job with finger ports
Nice I didn't know if it would be the same as a saw since they are operated differentlyDelete the gasket and take around .010 off base and that will get about .018 squish and good for about 20 more psi. Owner flooded it something awful.
Metering lever was a tiny bit high.
Same idle as my Yamaha 100 enduro from years ago.
Started building a mint 288 today, I cleaned this case up, it was a pig, spent 2 hrs on it, sending it to Glock37 to powdercoat, ordered the majority of the parts for the build, they had these 2 on the shelf, hope to keep it updated on here with pics

I've never build an clamshell engine before, not sure it will happen. Most likely the walbros and black coils will go for my 346's, but that 03 was a better looking saw tonight lol
More clamshells....those 40/45 clutches is ment for my 242's..... 45 year 96 and 40 year 89.

On the other side, maybe there was a reason why another dealer gave me a few freebie parts a while ago...

Very good grasshopper! Didn't see the Rolling Rock when I took the pic! One bearing and crank in heating the flywheel side. Setting the gap on the coil on the 026!Shock top bottle under the stihl saw sign and green can under your boys chin.
