Did the 266 come with different sized clutch threads on the crankshaft over the years or are they all the same?

Not @Tor R, but that series did have different threads. Older models had course threads. I'm not sure what year they changed, but my Jonsered 625 was an 88 model and had fine threads.

New to me. Haven't done much orange to date. 44 is healthy aside from some AV issues. 444SE is unknown. Missing a couple things.

they are cool saws, more fat compared to 242, but they are strong saws!

Question for @Tor R
Did the 266 come with different sized clutch threads on the crankshaft over the years or are they all the same?
as stated earlier, they went from UNC to metric PTO threads, M10×1 lett hand threads has my 86 XPG.

Turns out the 444 has a mint piston. Nice. Started with fuel. Stout compression on both 44 and 444.

Any advice/alternatives on some missing chain brake parts on the 444? Needing an air filter as well. I see those parts are NLA.

OEM piston and a little cleanup on the jug and this minty straight gassed red lever 026 is off the bench. Even had to remove the factory plastic protective shield on the metal top cover tag.

any of you guys heard about this , sorry didnt know what section to put it in
"
Talked with a Husky rep today for several minutes. He says there is a 572xp in development. It will be AT but they are going to great lengths to make damn sure and certain there are no bugs when it goes to market. The 372xp has been a solid work horse for them for a long time and they have a very loyal 372xp following.
He said it is likely the 372xp and 572xp will be joint offering for at least 12 months just incase the 572xp isn't up to snuff.
Once the 572xp comes out the 576xp will likely no longer be offered.

He was also familiar with porting saws and says that hes heard of some pretty spectacular and fun gains out of the 372xp from porting.

Visited about some other models as well.

Husky is also working on a new model that will replace the 390xp and 395xp." end quote

I was just cleaning up some pine tar off some old saws. I first tried this citrus cleaner, then simple green... neither worked too well.

I then tried Goof Off and that took care of it right quick! Although it also peeled off the stickers and left the plastic with a slight white haze.

For the guys that clean up the customer saws to be so purty, what do you use?
