Servicing a Polaris 850 Sportsman EFI. Shame when you have to remove the right side foot/fender rest so you can get the dang oil filter off! lol Made sure to replace with a KN filter with the bolt head for ease of changing next time. Other than the pain they are to work on....those 850's grow on ya. Fun bikes with tons of power. This ones a 2011.

461 power head recall. Fuel line could be pinched behind carb.

I finished this one and moved it off the bench...

...to make room for this one.

It needed a good cleaning and some new anti-vibe mounts.

I have a Mac Cat which I like to use..problem is I never know when it's gonna be easy to start. It's usually okay until it gets completely out of fuel then you just about have to prime it or crank on it a lot. It's been gone through but still is stubborn sometimes..

On my bench next is not a chainsaw but an Echo older weedeater which I'm gonna try to make a handheld stump grinder out of. I figure I'll take a bunch of Skillsaw blades and stack them to a thickness of about an inch and see if I can use it to eliminate small tree stumps. It may not work but it's a good way to kill a few hours..

I'm not very well underway with the project yet. Local mower shop gave me the weed whacker with no cutting head on it. I've rebuilt the carb so I can get it running but have just started collecting the blades..probably hit the flea markets for the blades next month. Some of these stumps around here are pretty well rotten so going through them might not be too hard. Of course I'm gonna leave the guard on it and wear goggles...I think someone has already beat me to the punch, think I saw one on youtube already..
