Been working on building a stihl hybrid as I get time. Got some new paint on the case and dyed the plastics. For the cylinder, I took .015 off the base and .020 out of band. The numbers I'm shooting for are 101, 117, 78. Exhaust port is roughed in, still have to do the rest. Little slow going, but I hope to have it together by the end of the weekend.

Got a replacement crankcase for the 272 XP and got her all screwed back together with new bearings, seals, and a Meteor piston.

Yes, krylon farm paint. Old Kubota orange is the color. 12 coats then baked in the oven at 200 degrees for 6 hrs. Seems alot harder then the other paint I used in my 066. I had to scratch a couple places off with a screwdriver and it didn't come off easy. I used the same paint for the clutch/recoil cover but in black.

Looks very nice. I hate painting orange since it covers so poorly for me. I did a simplicity tractor once and that paint seemed almost translucent for the first few coats.
