Well I just put together a 024. Little story here, it was my first saw that got me on AS, (10 or so years ago) and into saws, cad ever since probably 50 or more saws.
It was in the dumpster at work. So I got my info off there and put it together with a golf piston etc, passed it along to my bro a while back.
I t came back with a broken ring , ruined the piston and left a small divit on the top of the intake port, so I cleaned it up and put a meteor in it, just need to do the carb kit tomorrow. Also been playing with a used pump for the cabin to, Grundfos stainless pump.

You ever find a 540 homie piston? I didn't have any luck

No but I am going to pull it apart when I get a chance, @Chainsaw Jim and I were talking about it, we have a theory, and it involves a 066 piston. Thanks for looking though, it's a bit of an odd duck.

Husky 353, doing a pressure check, and found a leak between the case and the seal outer ring, right where the awl is pointing. Must be a scratch in the case.

Going to replace the seal and check it out, but what would you guys use to seal this? I have 3 Bond, Loctite, etc.

This....this is what's on my damn bench. Any time my kids have a birthday party my bench gets cleared to hold crap like this.

Glad I'm not the only one trumped by the will of little girls.
I kept the Dora tablecloths for disposable saw cleaning mats.

no sir, not at all. ive played more barbies and watched the movie frozen more than i care to admit...but that's a pretty good idea. ill tell her to leave the purple shimmer and shine table cloth on the bench after the party today.
