Luckily I got a little cartoon free 44/444 nos parts from my dealer, one of the few things I missed to my 2 year old 444SG project was metal handle bar, but as ususal when I have luck I somehow always miss another part

Got another 201T on my bench, with the same problem as the last one, clutch drum spun the star drive free!

A MS460 also came back. Nothing major, but the darn thing seems to loosen bolts like a Husky! Third time the muff has come loose, and I put loctite on it last time! Both of the dog bolts were also loose, and I tightened them up last time also! That saw must just have some weird vibration or something, but it runs real well.

What strength loctite did you use?

IMG_2065.JPG On the bench tonight...two 15lb bags of Smoke Me, Apple chunks. Now I'll break out the the Estwing Fireside Friend and the Fiskars X7 and start splitting this down to smoking size for my smokers' wood trays. When you do it this way, you get a heap better smoke burn for the money vice buying chips. We do around here a helluva lot of Boston butts, shoulders, picnic hams and whole, 1/2 chickens this time of the year. Costs me a small fortune for the groceries and whatnot, but the groceries sho get ate around here and everybody got a fat ass smile on their face.

If you fellas are looking for fruit wood or anything else...check out Firecraft.com, outta Pa. absolute best prices online and free ship til the end of Dec. Better get it now if'n ya needing it. Also, the Blues Hog dry rubs, and sauce by the gallon are the cheapest you'll find anywhere. Blues Hog is the chit when it comes to folks beating each other down in line to get another plate. Trust me on this one fellas!!

@USMC615 We need to find you a saw that you can dicker with on your bench. ;) Not that there is anything wrong with barbecuing up some fine vittles. :)
I heard that...all my little chicken chit I got runs so nuthin' really to piddle with. I don't use my stuff near what some of you fellas use being here in flip-flop mid-Ga. I do have a MS-211 that leaks bar oil like a sieve. That might be a good deal to break down but don't really know what to look for. Lone Wolf told me at one time in a thread, but my memory's for chit on what to look at.

Well, if it's already broken... and besides there is always somebody here that's got your back, if/when assistance needs rendering.

I sure miss my days living in New Bern, NC stationed at MCAS Cherry Point back in the 80's/early 90's, in the Corps. Talk about some damn fine pulled pork and slaw...just make ya wanna eat til your belly popped. My friend @Landmark knows that Carolina deal.

I like a good blend of hickory chips with my apple wood chunk smoking...about a 70/30 blend, apple over hickory. The apple's the go getter for the long smokes. Fine eats fellas when it comes to pork or yard bird.

I'm no expert on it, but I would say give it a try, likely the centrifugal force with that middle spring will make them all work, and it will be OK. If it is not smooth, then either cut it down or replace all the shoes.

I'm liking that centrifugal theory...run it like ya stole it.

On the muffler bolts how does the serrations look? I usually dig the metal out of them or replace them if their worn. Could be your problem but Maybe not.
