Huge, I believe if my memory is working properly, 80% of the Husqvarna groups world market share is in North America. Probably the biggest problem in my area is home owners are the lions share of the business. Not enough Pro users to court any more. My how times have changed.
Thats funny Steve, I seem to run across a bunch of XPG's here. Where not that far from each other.

Timing is too far advanced. 372 is a saw that's easy to go too far on too.
Its a stihl 361. took flywheel off lastnight and dialed it back some. It almost seemed like it was alot more advanced then what I anticipated. It doesn't have a key, its molded in with the flywheel. So maybe when I went to tighten f'd it up.

Is funny how things are different in another place, the mass influx of tourism from the big city's that have bought up "vacation" property's, has changed the place quite a bit. The "don't kill a tree crowd" has the upper hand now to the point that I've heard that a permit is required for a person to have more than two trees cut on his own property. Which I categorically reject, besides I only cut trees down one at a time. Now I see insect infestations more and more, at some point, people are going to wish a reasonable amount of trees were harvested. Which are the only trees I cut are the dead and dying, which I do every year. To my surprise I have also seen a few trees rescued by woodpeckers, that have ate out the bugs before they got too bad the tree healed and was fine. See more of those than ever before as well, even the pileated woodpecker is making a comeback. Pretty much can go in any direction from here and normalcy returns.
Saw shops have changed over the years, when I was growing up, McCulloch was King in these parts, when they went out Stihl pretty much took its place. The Stihl shop in town would help me as much as they could with my old McCulloch in the eighty's, now they won't work on even an older Stihl with the new folks, charge a guy $40.00 for not fixing his saw and say they can get it back by buying a new one. Husqvarna shop, no better off. Everything seems to change, but me, but that's OK, as I wouldn't have it any other way. This is why I fix up the saws for folks that need them.

wouldnt surprise me at all, but as long your guys dont demand xpg saws they will not take them in either.
Spoked with the same dealer last week, over 50% of their sale is 550xpg, they dont take in 550XP.

Did a check up on my 066 I ported. Yesterday was the first cutting I did with it. I ran about 5 tanks through it. Really liked the way it ran. The only issue I found was with the air filtration. It was wearing a metal mesh filter. It let alot of fines in the intake. I checked it when I filled the tank up the first 2 times and didn't see anything getting through. Then ran another 3 tanks thru it. Was surprised how much got through. Chain was a new oregon chisel chain, and was cutting a bunch of wood that wasn't the best. So there was alot of dust.

Got this quite cheap, around 120$, work was mostly to swap crankcase, invested in new seals, gasket kit, while I had it apart I removed a bit casting on p&c, it's a starter now :)

Left to fix the wire from the fronthandle and test if the heathed system work, and yes, I need to remove the handle again since I forgot one vital piece plastic lol

The whole xpg system those 5xx serie saws use is the best system I've ever seen from Husky.
