I have a really nice 372xp I put together. ..cylinder was roached though....cleaned up...new meteor and decked....but comp is only 150 psi..... :(

Trying to sell the thing...but now I dunno

How much did you lower the cylinder?

272xp after a thorough cleaning! Getting ready for reassembly. Might decide to throw new bearings in for the heck of it!

the same 395 thats been sitting there a couple weeks. Along with my 288. Got some AM hard rubber Av mounts, but it turns out these ones needed some short M5 screws instead of the stock length. and an ms 290 that i finally started messing with, that came from @Adirondackstihl . feel like ive got it figured out, just havent finished it....

e=empty
e=every
p=pocket

I bought my wife one 2002.If you have a 4.0 you need to run a oil that has zinc and phosphorous which alot of the oil companys don't have.Royal purple has it or you can get a additive.Lifters collapse I have a nice no rust ZJ lifters need to be replace along with the cam.

The bottom of the lifters are flat and when oil companys took the zinc and phosphorus out it started slowly killing them.

I'm going to check with a local bearing place tomorrow. What should I be looking for for the 272. I believe they are 6202 am I correct?

spoke with owner of the saw and as i suspected, the saw had recent top end work, like it had been cleaned with a hone....i told him no guarantees on that cylinder, though it looks pretty good. As i said, lucky it was taken out of use when it was.
