I've been trying to find one of these Alpina pro-41s for 15 year's View attachment 394151

My mom bought me one in the 1990s
brother lost the carb/intake assembly
Somehow
This one is in very good shape View attachment 394153View attachment 394154
This one's in good shape
These are strong little saws with an unusual dual trigger setup
Can be run as a tophandle or rear handle
Lot's of climber's used them locally
Just need carb kits and fuel lines to run.
That is a clean little saw Dave. Pretty cool!

I sympathize with your friend , I sent one to Will, who's on here, after trying to get it to run right. At one point I decided that it wasn't worth the effort.

Ha I know right! I tried to point him in the direction of some other small saws that I know are easy, but he found this one so…..anyways one thing that kept me going was - I’ve heard decent things about the performance of these 435’s for their size and weight.

So it will be interesting to see…. Still haven’t found the time to finish it, and I have a feeling the carb is gonna be coming back off :(

$2 Poulan 2600 Farmhand.
I finally broke down & bought a $9 intake adapter for it.
It has the Chrome Bore Husqvarna 141 engine.
Piston looks excellent.20231027_162739.jpg20231027_162744.jpg

Its complete minus 1 carb bolt. Lol
A good cleaning first, then put together.
If she runs, I'll have $11 in it! Lol
