How do you know he has a twin?:D
This plane is a single engine. The twin reference was just food for thought. As expensive as it is, it’s the low side of the aviation expense curve. Some of the private jets that fly in and out of my airport costs the folks inside them around $10,000.00 per HOUR.
Ahhh.. to be one of the beautiful people.

I got the joke, really. Lol I’m so tired right now I just slip into a monotone kinda thing. Explaining all that stuff like I do is what I’m doing at work now, training a new fellow. Takes me twice as long to do something and takes twice the effort later in the day. He’s getting it, but at times I’m losing it! I don’t fuss at him, it’s only positive reinforcement but I keep the frustrations inside and that takes effort and energy. I’m tired .

My son enjoyed his ride in this. Owner tried to make him sick, didn't work.View attachment 346910
That is so cool. Yesterday a friend and local flew a 17 year old around in a T-34. A really nice one too. He has cameras in all 4 corners of the plane and records the flights. Mixes them at home and gives them away. For a second I thought you were him but the hanger is way different. Same plane butNavy, instead of Marines. Same colors. Beautiful, oh, the 17 year old that John flew around did get sick after a slow aileron roll. Still neat
Not same plane . That’s a T-6. Radial engine coolness. Same colors though

Sometimes you have a win, bought a bunch of parts saws from a dealer, this 372 was amongst them. Went through carb, replaced coil, checked piston/cylinder, comp a little down, could use a new ring.
Spent more time cleaning it really.

Been pickin away at the Cub project the last few weeks. Got the hood painted, wiring mostly done, gauges in, led headlights in factory housings and under seat fuel tank I made. I did not weld the fuel tank though. My aluminum welding skills are not good enough to achieve a quality product so I paid a fella who knows what they're doing to weld it up. Next is fab up a battery tray, paint the wheels, new tires and by then it'll probably be snowing so start it up, attach the plow and push snow
