My project two nights ago was cleaning all the 056 parts I've collected so I can assess what I have and what I need to buy when I build 3 saws from this mess. I also cleaned the sludge off the solvent tray after I finished washing the saws since it was pretty filthy. There's a mesh drain hiding in that picture, fyi.

Last night I cleaned up a pair of wraps and started tearing down my neighbor's saws, I figured out what trashed the p/c on his 045, I'm just not sure what it was and where it came from. I also split the cases on his 045 and 056 so I can put the good crank from the 056 in the good cases from the 045.

Wow. So organized! Nice job.
No joke, this is the most organized I have ever been on any build ever. Most of the time I just remember what screw went where, etc but since I started with 3 only mostly complete saws and a ton of misc parts I want to know exactly what I have.

Got my snowblower and generator running for the storm this weekend. Snowblower fired right up, generator needed a squirt of carb cleaner to light off. Loaded up a tool bag for the service call I have to make tomorrow after work to get a snowblower running. Noticed that one of the tag lights on the escape is burnt out as well, I'll pick up a pack of bulbs tomorrow and replace both.

That is a very clean looking set of finger ports and a pretty badass looking saw overall, I’d say you got a pretty good rig there!

Paid $300 for it. It screams! Starts rough and the choke/kill switch need some work so I’m gonna try to get those little issues fixed up

IT'S ALIVE!!! The first of the three lives again! My brother's 045 Super II got a good used 54mm piston from my neighbor's saw and I swapped my brother's jug the neighbor's jug too since it still had a good gasket on it. I bolted it together, 5 pulls on choke and it popped, next pull with the choke off and it ran! And all my neighbors were treated to an 045 with a dp muffler piss revving at 9:00 p.m.

Supposed to be the replacement for the MS440 in countries that don’t care about emissions. This was brought back from Africa I’m guessing by a missionary. I’ll probably get the full story at some point. They don’t pass US and EU emissions.

Don’t mind the mess. I’m supposed to be organizing but I get distracted. Three SRM 2620T trimmers. These were destined for the scrap yard. I cleaned one carb and used the worst one to fix the others. I need to buy filters. They shoved whatever fit in the filter housings. All the other parts came from my junk pile. These are all 2017 and don’t look to have ever been touched. They all have good compression and the one I stripped has a perfect piston. I’m afraid to pull the other mufflers that a bolt might break. These will be my new trimmers for when my wife and I trim fence lines. I like my kombi but I don’t think you can beat an echo for longevity.
