It popped up on ebay about 6 months ago, $32 shipped. Since it was off an old 365 and made in china, they didn't think it was worth anything.

How does one tell if they have a dual jet Zama?

Cut out the gasket for the Tecumseh 5 hp snow king and reinstalled the carb, started right up but wouldn't accelerate, would with a little bit of choke, decided to order a Chinese carb that's adjustable, should solve the issue. Currently has a fixed jet carb.

Yesterday I replaced the low beam headlight bulbs on my 17 Ford Escape after discovering early Saturday morning that my headlights weren't working. Took all of 15 minutes in the Advance Auto Parts parking lot

038 Mag popped up on FB Marketplace a few days ago at a reasonable price, so I snagged it. Saw is a runner, but filthy. Gonna try not to get carried away with this one; last one I did got the full NOS rebuild with powdercoated case. Ended up being too damn nice for me when it was done, so it got sold.

If anyone has a good OEM 2 or 3 port muffler or a full wrap handle, please let me know.

A new recruit for my posse of Homeys , an XL925 Super with at the very least a smoked piston . I have plans for seals,carb kit, piston and rings for now but tearing it down slowly.

With some creative bending I put a 044 3/4 wrap on mine.

Well, I do need to source a 3/4 wrap for my 044, so I guess I need to go ahead an order one. Once it arrives, I'll see how much work it will take to adapt it. Thanks

Tore a saw I bought almost 2 years ago down. Got it from a older faller in my hometown. He told me it was a “Ace Morgan modified 038 with a 046 carb and velocity stack” which at the time was before I was into saws so that had meant absolutely nothing to me hahah just thought it looked cool with the filter hanging off the back. After reading threads I’ve come to find out who Ace was so I decided to tear it down for A deep clean and to check out his porting.

That is a very clean looking set of finger ports and a pretty badass looking saw overall, I’d say you got a pretty good rig there!
