Freaking sweet... now we need all the specs!!! I just built one this summer! No saw stuff today but spent a little time this afternoon dialing in my buffer weight. The new trigger setup (in my case) required a heavier buffer to slow the bolt down. 4.8oz seems to be the sweet spot

Nuthin fancy really. Spikes upper and lower. Bear creek .223 wylde stainless barrel. Magpul furniture. Keymod free float rail. Black rain ordinance nickel boron full auto bcg. Burris prism sight. The drop in trigger is new and technically not out yet. Them ATF kids are on the fence about it right now. It's a true 3 position that allows the rifle to function much like an m16 but functions similar to a forced reset trigger like Rarebreed and WOT but keeps the single shot option where as Rarebreed and WOT turn your gun into an ammo dumping device.Freaking sweet... now we need all the specs!!! Was she the one selling lots of Tsumara bars?
Anyone know if there's a wide clutch cover option for 372oe's? I don't remember seeing one when I ordered my fullwrap but you'd think a kit would have popped up during that search.View attachment 320424 View attachment 320425
Fyi , the wide clutch cover from the 565/572xp full wrap kit is very good at discharging red oak noodles. Definitely not clogging up like the regular ones.

The 572xp wrap kit I ordered did not come with the encapsulated nuts but the West Coast spikes and clutch cover come in the kit, about 30-40$ ( see Dukes saw salvage) .Anyone know if there's a wide clutch cover option for 372oe's? Did that originally have just the single little pencil hole for an outlet like my 2007 440. I noticed some had the single little hole with deflector and then another slit nearby and was wondering if that was an update to let the saw at least breathe. Maybe Stihl decided they went too far and added the slit? I am going to ask my dealer cause they have the updates on their computer system. Mine burns lean even with the hi.limiter out to the rich max...do not see how it could be run any other way without lean burning the piston up. That little pencil hole reduced even further by the screen is tiny.440 muffler mod. I almost ordered a new muffler because I made the hole to big for the pipe but tried to braze it anyway, not pretty but good enough.

I would go full DP like the Canadian and Australian OEM Stihl set up that has no internal deflector if I was not sawing near neighbors. Apparently Stihl had no problems selling OEM saws outside US with next to nothing for restriction. Wonder if those saws had same carbs with opened hi jet or a different carb.Did that originally have just the single little pencil hole for an outlet like my 2007 440.
