At the price new they cost, its cheap enough to just grab another one. Plus they sell short blocks for 150.00

Regardless of the price they are not going to last 20 years. Also it's not an apples to apples comparison. The 2511 has its place but it will never be what the 200t is. They are awfully handy saws though! Not the first time we don't agree on something and I'm sure it won't be the last![emoji1787]

Not hating on the 200t at all though. They're great...pretty much dominate the top handle market. Id buy one if I could find a deal on one. But I'd buy a new echo before I spent what people want for a beat up used 200t.

I just sold this one to an arborist for the equivalent of $540USD, and he reckoned that was an incredible deal!

Good looking saw!
Yep, did come up well, didn't need much TBH. New sprocket cover, sparkplug, fuel filter, rear AV mount and the little ring that goes on the inside of the intake behind the carb. Pretty sure that's where the air leak was coming from. It idles and tunes nicely now, and cuts fast for a little saw!

X2 that the 2511 is the greatest top handle ever...?

Yes I will be.

Afraid so. It does everything at half the weight, half the price, half the maintenance time and is more accurate for pruning. The only thing 200t does better is block down 16” chunks but at that point I want a 50cc saw anyway.

FWIW, 200t sounds cooler.

I have ran 2 ported ones and yes they were damn nice saws and ran strong. I would have to run them against a stock 200t to see if that's how strong. I have my doubts though thats a big cc gap to make up. Get some videos of the next one you do @dustinwilt68 . Maybe bring one to Duanes next May!

What bars and chains are you guys running on the 2511's? Stock or ported?

028 for an intake boot and tank replacement. Gonna do the fuel line and impulse hose while I'm in there too. New DeWalt impact driver is a beast! Replacement tank came from @David Young
