What bars and chains are you guys running on the 2511's? Stock or ported?

1/4” .043 14” Ported. I’m a big fan of the quarter tip sprocket nose.

Got the replacement tank for the 028 all cleaned up and it looks great! Gonna call the dealer tomorrow to see if they have the impulse hose and fuel line.

No more oil leaks. I used a sealant between the oil pump & rubber.

I got it from this guy named PA Dan, he is in PA someplace. He's a real mover and a shaker, a breaker and a spinner.

But not that kinda spinner...

Project 028 is progressing. Tank swap will work perfectly. Found cause of intake boot failure as well which was a broken tank causing av mounts to not work as they should. Next step will be to clean up the saw completely before reassembly.

028 progress. Got it cleaned up completely and the tank/handle on. Just need to get the carb on, clean up the recoil assembly and FIRE IT UP!

Wicked dirty 262XP
Second saw this year with an undersized filter. First was a 365Special that eventually went lean and needed a piston. This one is still pushing 155psi.

Spent a few days getting the following running,, they all got drowned.
GX390 on my splitter, gx200 on the pressure washer, sno blower tecumseh ,, 2071, 046, 038 mag.
Got 2 ft water in my 2 sea cans,, 3 ft in my 6ft6in crawl space. So drywall and insulation came out.
Am now in the drying stage.
I was lucky thats all.
Others lost more,, some their homes.
These are river stuff, lake came up 4 ft over nite and got me.

Last night I did a few quick tip replacements, now I'm ready for my SP81 to show up and I'm able to reclaim my current milling bar and install it on my MS066 Magnum II build.

394 was straight gassed. Helped a friend clear storm damage, took my saws, started cutting and clearing. He put his Stihl down and started feeding brush through his chipper, did not like how his saw cut compared to mine. Asked if he would like a Husky, replied, no orange saws for me, so I am building him an @Ronie special. To be fair it's his chain and lack of sharping skills.

Cleaned off my lift table which is my primary bench. Checked out a Homelite 240 which was given to me a while ago. Fired on prime fuel but wouldn't run off tank fuel. It'll be a later on project. Checked out an Echo CS3400 with no spark, needs a coil which is on order.

Xl 98's new carburetor came in today. After 3 years of leaking gas through a cracked carburetor I can use it now without the fear of being a torch.
