Dang, I woulda had a few bars for you if they were 196's. In other news, I replaced the fuel lines and filter on a buddy's weedeater and will be giving it a carb kit as soon as I finish my final paper. Also, I put new a/v in another friend's 235 RII in place of the creative baling wire fix and I washed some Mac parts.

No problem I have been getting "creative" with bars lately.

Got the LT1000 all back together and tested. New hardware kit for the right rear tire and a drive belt. Test mowed with it too. Time for a reward....

This is about as far from CFB as it gets.

Fellow dropped it off, said it would start but would not stay running. Looking at the fuel lines, they all appeared to have been replaced not so long ago.

Pushing the primer (purge bulb) would squirt fuel back out the carburetor. Remove the carburetor and pressure test - checks out O.K....let's have another look at those fuel lines. From the tank to the inlet of the primer, from the outlet of the primer to the (should be outlet) of the carburetor, from (should be inlet) of the carburetor back to the tank...all three lines were wrong . Correct the plumbing and the saw runs again.

What's CFB? As for the comp readings, I've seen saws with 60 psi run through a tank, then fall flat on their face. Matter of fact, as soon as my bench clears up I'm going to go through an 045 Super II with 60lbs of comp! The guy ran a tank of fuel through it, shut it off, and it wouldn't start again.
