$550 worth of Stihl parts. Tracked down the carb issue with the Dolly, I didn't get the idle circuit core plug seated properly. Got it seated properly, gonna seal it with some Seal All and see what happens. 2 more knocked out for the commercial guy, his SR430 sprayer got a new tank cap and a service kit (fuel filter, air filter, spark plug). His MS241C-M got a new handle bar, freshly sharpened chain and a service kit. Gonna make a couple cuts with it tomorrow evening. Gonna be interesting to run an MTronic saw for the first time.

I was going to shoot you a text. But figured I'd let the other guys know as well.

The best things I have found to seal those welch plugs is a drop or two of Red Kote or Por15. Those two brands of tank sealer are hands down best for fuel resistance that we have found.

(I believe mercury actually used Red Kote on some of their carbs from the factory for a while)

HS46C and HS56C. Both got service kits and the 56 got new muffler screws so it doesn't sound like a race bike anymore. 6 total pieces done for the commercial guy now. The 241C-M ran good but the chain is garbage, was rocked pretty good again. Gonna just put a new one on and I'll save the old one to practice on. I now have .325 and 3/8LP to practice on.

I had a similar problem a while back with some vendors shipping 440 tank holders as 460 tank holders.

Resulted in delays in finishing the 460 projects, but ended up with a couple of free 440 tank holders (when I did not get resolution from the vendor, I cancelled through my credit card co.). Since it cost them more for return shipping than mfg, they don't go after them.

My bench?
Cluttered with way to many projects. Currently replacing top handle on my 201t c-m ...... :BangHead:
I had to walk away for a bit. Saw came off my lanyard when I was 30' up a maple a few years back. Landed upside down on a pleasant sized rock. When I removed the handle cover, some off the parts fell right out. It was barely holding it all in.

On another note, the bench is shared in my garage. Most of my saws are in my basement except an 036 P and this top handle. Over the winter I picked up some hardwood pallets. Loaded with 2x3'' hardwoods. Decided I couldn't burn em. Decided to square them up and lay em out sideways on a piece of 3/4 ply with biscuit joints. Cap the edges with the included 1x4'' hard maple, linseed oil, and I'll have my new saw bench. :D Lookin forward to putting that together.

MM55 and BR800X both got service kits. Started on an engine side fan housing on another 800X and got it 3/4 of the way apart until I realized that I don't have the correct side fan housing....ah f**k! I'll call the dealer tomorrow morning and get it sorted out.

Got the fan housing sorted out. Buddy Mike is coming over later this evening to help me with trimmers.... finished up this installation at work this morning. Minn Kota Riptide Terrova 87" shaft, designed specifically for salt water use. 36 volts DC, 112 lb thrust. He got lithium batteries which are 50 amp hour and only weigh 15 lbs each. Much better than AGM or lead acid batteries which are anywhere from 50 to 75 lbs each. It's on a 22 foot center console.

I did a rebuild on this 50 last week and just now ran a tank of fuel through it. I had a cylinder from a Partner 5000 laying around that was in bad shape. I sent it off to get rechromed and got it back for the rebuild. So this is a 50 Magnum I suppose.
Runs pretty good, taking it easy on it.

Who did you send it to? How pricey is it?
