Now a little story concerning a previously mentioned Lombard Comango .It got that name from a little girl who answered a contest for naming a new model by the company .Command And Go .Of course it's patterned after the Homelite and of that basic design I've seen them from about 2 cubic inches to around 5 .Poulan had one in the 60 cc range .The two I have running both have bad seals which I just have not taken the time to repair .
Of the parts saws which all died of bad seals one has a pressed together crankshaft /rod assembly which is rather novel considering the age .Some use 3/8" bar studs some used 5/16" A few are auto oil which I assume is pressurized as I've never found an oil pump to say but as yet I've never torn one completely down. In good tune these things will surprise you but loud enough to wake the dead .

Let me look it up but I think it started out as the Lombard governor company that must have made governors .Ownership changed a few times over the years .Of the ones I have that run one is made or sold by American Lincoln and one by Campbell -Hausfield .The American Lincoln has the prefix AL .but they for all intents are just like the Comango as far as I can see .Here ya go I knew good ole Mike would know the story

Progress on the Ariens ST350. Installed a new fuel valve so he can run the carb dry and provides a 90 to send the fuel line to the carb without it kinking as it leaves the tank. Installed a new set of shoes and touched up the auger housing with some Duplicolor Chevy Orange engine paint. Just need the carb kit and she'll be ready to blow some snow.

My dad's cousin came by and set up his MIG welder and tested my flux core wire feed the stick machines.

Passing time while I wait for the results of my covid test. GF and I had to get them as my mom is positive and my dad most likely is and since we were around them recently, my work mandated we get tested.

Buddy's generator got an oil and filter change, new spark plug. Waiting for battery which I'll have tomorrow as well as an air filter and pre filter.

His snowblower is getting the carb reassembled and running as well as oil change and new plug while I wait for a new primer as I broke it off trying to get it removed to replace the primer hose. I thought it was the snap in style however it was the thread in style.
