I have it on good authority you can fit 17 chainsaws in the back of one of those if you put a layer of cardboard between and stack 2 hi.

24 if you shove a hitch hauler box into the receiver

Well I should hope so! I think I had 14 in the Mustang, all with B+C, including 2 w/36".

I think D Dave may have pics.

Had a husqvarna 440 and the customer’s complaint was that it would stall when the chain brake was engaged. I took the clutch cover off and found a broken clutch spring, clutch bearing melted into the worm gear, and the oil pump was trashed. Also leaked oil so new oiler hose will be installed. I’m going with dull chain as cause of failure.
Could always be stupidity in anger as the cause in the sense that a guy gets frustrated with it not cutting from being dull, so just bears down on it full throttle intentionally trying to cook it out of anger. You know, the kind of people who are quick to throw stuff or hit it with a hammer.

Not deliberate abuse related: I did fix an Echo 400 for someone, I can't remember the complaint, but I looked it over and found bad/overheated clutch springs, melted plastic in the clutch cover, and the chain on backwards and run so long 95% of the chrome was gone.

That is true, I Siamese every one of them!

11 saws this time, and I've done more (with my bags up front). I have also put two 660s with 36" B+C across the back.

Also, a pic of the Stang at the Upstate NY GTG (2.5 hr drive).

066 with shot clutch springs. Kind of common for these older saws. It’s doable without the proprietary clutch spring tool but it makes it a lot easier to have it. 5CDE272F-715A-4F48-A599-66068F974023.jpegCF686798-FA79-4D57-8F66-76E8218CAFDA.jpegWould have been helpful to have the alignment mark centered with the oiler tab groove don’t ya think.... lol 19A6BEA0-38FA-4852-8109-2E9635ED6157.jpeg

I have a HF tool that resembles that … I will have to try it, thanks!
Yup could give it a shot. I ended up buying the aftermarket version of the stihl tool from definitive dave a while back. It’s probably not as nice as the oem one but it was a good price.

This cream puff got a new clutch, oil pump, fuel lines and carb rebuildView attachment 272753

Time to enter it into the Wild Thing competition. I'm not a Poulan guy but you should check it out. I believe you have to modify and/or make it actually run fast. :p

Been slower then I like lately, Covid definitely has slowed me down the last couple days, but I managed to get most of a 7910 ported for a customer, little final work on the exhaust to do yet, then a 261 and 661 to port for a few guys16083781838815478991503344810502.jpg 16083782309544005356421362042012.jpg 1608378308812170527476586146052.jpg

I’m determined to get this little guy up to speed. Specs say 13,300 max, it came to me barely running
11,000. Had to score one of these EPA approved
“single tooth” screwdrivers to make the adjustment first. Seems to be a cool little saw. Will probably make a big difference to get it FDD9CF2D-D333-4219-A72E-63A5A08E4FF6.jpeg 22D1C5A2-7595-47B7-A7D0-B79248A34723.jpeg up to 13,000.

Nothing like winterizing a boat outside when it's 11 degrees out. It sucks!
