Had this dropped off for a get running and service. Runs like dog poo. Choke cable is frozen in the on position. A new choke cable and carb rebuild should have her going. Once shes running I'll toss in a new plug, fuel filter and change the oil. It's going to be my Thursday snow day project.

Sounds like you have about all the work you can keep up with. That means you probably have a good reputation.

The carb kits for the Walbro WT carbs on the concrete saws should be received today .I don't seem to have much luck with the teflon , mylar or whatever material they use for more modern fuel diaphragms (check valves ) .It took me a little while find the kits that still furnish the buna-n impregnated paper type .As I get this stuff running right I've been dumping about a half tank of fuel laced with Stabil in hopes to preserve the fuel delivery system parts rather than run them dry .

I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and start this stuff up periodically with new fuel .Problem is you get a few saws ,blowers ,weed wackers you prefer and the rest of them take up shelf space .I've only got 40-50 I can't imagine a couple hundred .That's all you'd ever get done .No watching TV, no drinking beer on a hot afternoon under an umbrella no bare hunting under the sheets . That would suck .

On that 125,it doesn't have to be pretty to run good .That old war horse can still get-er-done in grand style .Throw back in time when they made stuff to run almost forever . It's all in the oil and the tune. Mix it too thin and tune it real lean it won't run forever .---old Al's rule number 1 ---

Ancient echo back pack blower- did not survive

Husqvarna hedge trimmer- fuel system

Husqvarna 372- no power (coil limiting to 9k)

2nd 372oe- top end toast (donated coil to help diag 1st 372!!)

Husqvarna 323 trimmer- water ingestion/fuel sys/missing parts is a DNR...

Homelice saw tune up and new chain (filthy pile that had hay packed in clutch housing, absolutely filthy!!)

Sad news, but expected, I found out this evening that some neighbors that I help out will have to be in assisted living.

He came up missing again... I found him off the side of their driveway/bridge 10-12' down with a nasty head wound...
Turns out also with a broken neck and etc...

Pray for them they need it, great people...

Yesterday I stumbled over or rather tripped over a Homelite Super XL-12 ,a slightly larger displacement model than the standard Xl-12 .I was checking the bar fit up for a person on another forum and determined possibly a bar from a reed valve McCulloch might work .It has 3/8" bar studs not 5/16" .This might be a good candidate for the bench ,it appears to be all there .I don't know much about it but I suppose I will in time .
