I used to dread top handles, but after a few, they aren't so bad.

Ezactly!

They are actually easy saws to work on.
It is amazing how filthy they get.
Takes longer to clean them than to tear down and rebuild them!!!

455 Rancher for a carb rebuild and tuneup. Carb wasn't too bad inside but wouldn't hurt to let it take a hot bath for a while. It'll be getting a fresh OEM Walbro kit. Dumped the fuel and it smelled pretty nasty. New fuel filter and spark plug installed as well. Carb will be back together later on and I'm going to let the fuel tank dry out overnight and tomorrow. Haven't really messed with many strato saws so I'll probably need some tuning advice once it's back together and running.

First time in the shop since Thursday. Had one of our fur babies pass away Saturday morning so I was a mess this weekend. 455 Rancher carb reassembled, reinstalled and got running/initial tuned. Need to dress the bar, put the tach on it and make some cuts with it and it'll be ready to go for the customer. He also has a 55 Rancher in for the same get running/service but the 455 was priority.

Thank you. She was a sweetheart. Rescued her as a stray in 2011. We really didn't know how old she was, our best guess would be 15+.

I've got a 455 I rebuilt from bare cases that I can't seem to give away... I've had a trio of 55's come and go since the 455 been on the block...

Finished the Mantis tiller last night and serviced it this evening with an oil change, fresh plug and fuel filter. 55 Rancher up on the bench for a get running and service. Pretty sure I found the cause of the no start....carb is swimming and it'll be for a while. It'll also be getting a fresh plug and fuel filter. Decided to replace the intake boot and impulse grommet while I'm in there as well per the recommendation of @malk315
