Carbon stuck valve would be my guess. Bad fuel or weak rings causing a burn/buildup problem on that cyl. Shut it off without a cool down period and all the gunk seals the valve to the seat. Next time it cranks up it will bend the push rods.

Just a guess.

That's what I was thinking when mine did it.
Although I couldn't figure out why a twin running on a single carb would carbon up one side but not the other.

Well I pulled the valves and found a broken valve seal on the exhaust side. That's where the carbon came from.

At least you found the problem.
I never found any cause for mine. [emoji106]

A couple of quick jobs. Honda GC160 on a trac vac power pack. New recoil rope and get running. A squirt of carb cleaner down the carb and running sweet.

Honda GX25 on a Mantis tiller for a no start. Again a squirt of carb cleaner down the carb had it pop off but the carb wouldn't purge. New carb on the way.

Gf made yummy sauce and spaghetti for dinner....had a little bit and I'm stuffed...and done for the evening.

Tree services will do that to them!
They all should have complete rebuilds.
All need new crank bearings and seals in my opinion. Pistons all show signs of excessive wear and rocking. A/V are all shot....
Plastics are all hammered....
Polishing some turds....

Thats what happens to the favorite saws on the Parks also, they get used hard by the staff because they're good saws.
