Yer flux capacitor is missing Sir. (Rotor/cam whatever they call it) :afro:

Steven
It was found, after a brief search, built into the rotor that holds the magnets. I think the condenser has pooped the sheets. The points are burned and I’m able to get a very weak spark intermittently. I can clean the points up and replace the condenser. Im really hoping it isn’t the coil because I haven’t got one of those.

Nice Kevin. Where's da vidyas?
Stopped by @drf256 place yesterday and ran a couple of saws ....... when I get time to cut up a giant oak that blew down a few weeks ago, I’ll get some videos. I’ll say this : Docs 462 has a ton of everything you’d want your 462 to have ! Holds great rpm in the cut, just about unstoppable with doggs on a 24” setup ...... mtronic, light, just a great saw !!

Anyone ever see this on a Husky clutch cover? Freaking post that holds the chain brake knuckle broke off!

The knuckle pivots on that post and holds all the pressure from the brake spring. I doubt anything would hold up. These saws are getting sold so I don't want to have any issues. Ill get a new clutch cover.

Mcculloch single stage snowblower for a get running and service. Fired on spray. Attempting to save the carb. If it's not saveable I have a new carb on the way. $20 from eBay.

Carb, air box, lower and main blower shrouds on loosely. Ended up not bringing my torque wrench home Thursday and I forgot again Friday. Tomorrow I'll torque the head bolts, set the valves, install the exhaust and upper blower shroud, tighten everything and fire her up! Biggest job I've done to date.

It wasn't on a bench and it wasn't a saw .I thought I should fire off one of my generators and 3-4 hours later I got it to run .Freaked gas lines all full of chit and a plugged up carb .I'm going to need to pay more attention I guess. Might need to use it some time ya know . I think a jug of Stabil might be in order .---it's always something---

How long since you ran them? I have two, a big one (for the whole house, with 85' deep well pump) and a little one (for one power tool at a time). The little onw had not been used in about 9 months, and the big one for a year and a half, and I was very pleased they both fired up like they had just been used last week.

This was especially surprising because they are both from HF! I can not complain at all about either one of them.
