"My generator won't start, I even cleaned the carb." More ethanol fuel making me money. Should be just cleaning the carb, tank, and flushing the fuel line. Governor link wasn't even connected to the throttle shaft.

I didn't recall 462 has reflection tape under the muffler?
Nope, neither did my 500i
But, they both do have it now, compliments of the 1122 series.

They also have both had that paper gasket removed in the cases transferrs section.

Something new to me is this plate on the carb ...... what's it do, supply inlet temps to the mtronic ?

As expected the bolt came from the carb floor... The other three were also loose.
Blue loctited all four.
Actually had a flywheel for the 390!
It got a cleaning and quick service.
Cyl looks smooth and piston is well worn.
It's a tee service saw so...

Giving my workhorse MS200T its monthly service yesterday and noticed this crack...

20201011_ms200t_case_crack.jpg

An m5 x 0.8mm machine screw goes in there to help hold the bar horizontal since the MS200T only has a single bar stud.

Might be time for some JB Weld.

Well I went from the very simple Husqvarna 41 to the VERY complex MS441, its a work in progress.
I dont know who owned the saw before me but they obviously didn't spend their money on it. So many things were Ham fisted and broken and ridiculously dirty. 20201011_095648.jpg 20201011_113335.jpg 20201011_193243.jpg
Didn't read the manual earlier enough about the carburetor, fyi your not supposed to take the strato throttle plate off, I just thought that the screws were over tightened on it also ? But it'll go back fine and a dab of locktite on the tiny screw will help.20201011_193217.jpg
