Generac cylinder head reassembled and ready for reinstallation as soon as I get head bolts. It's also the last customer job in the shop.

Cleaned the crankcase and cylinder gasket surfaces on my 357 and also installed a new fuel line and filter. All covered till I get my parts.

Got one of my 660’s back together, needed crank bearings and seals, I had put a new piston in it and some port work, along with a new clutch, the pto bearing was loose, and flywheel side was rough, put oem bearings and seals in. Did two heat cycles and it seems to be running well.A39F4E4C-74C2-4CC8-8116-3416C89687F6.jpegEFCA4C05-1842-436C-BA15-1A9F348EC41C.jpegit was a high hour logger saw

So with my 372XT and 372OE heads out for machining i was looking for a project. Just happens i had a 2165 with its brain removed. This had the XPW top end that i just sold on it.
Having a spare 365 top-end laying around and i had myself a project! Heres some pics of the exhaust port. BFC3D095-75E5-4F87-9A9C-EB74653DA78D.jpeg2C02AAAB-8FCF-4DB2-B48D-190FDA4592E5.jpeg2C0D14B2-BCE1-4915-B045-DE3028154981.jpeg0E64A0C2-5F84-4E52-8400-08732FA7D1FE.jpeg

Made my own Super sert today. Not bad for a chef....Lol. MS660 case. Whoever owned this last loved that extra quarter turn. Then try a bigger bolt....

Tapped the case out to M8x1.25 and got 90% or better clean threads. Chucked up a bolt on the lathe, drilled and tapped it to m5x0.8.

1980ish Homelite Super XL Automatic. Came from a customer who decided to not repair it. Dumped some 40:1 and bar oil in it and it popped off pretty easy. Tweaked carb slightly and running sweet. Found a good outer bar plate for it and made sure it was oiling. Reinstalled bar and chain and ready for the wood.

I remember running a XL12 looked like that but manual Oiler.
Did a great job till I replaced it with a Stihl 036 in 1994. Man I thought I hit the jack pot of saws.

Similarly, I replaced my Homelite 330 with a Stihl 10 mm 044 in Dec 92 … never ran the 330 again!
