Finally solved the coil conundrum on this Stihl FS46! Came in for just stopped running, had no spark. Tried an aftermarket Chinese coil from eBay, no luck with that one. Went to local Stihl dealer and ordered coil. Installed today and now it runs excellent.

:BangHead: didn't need it but here it is......

Going to hold the shelf down until I have the time & funds to tear it down and rebuild. Runs but has a scuffed piston. Wasn't expecting it to need a piston but typical eBay b.s....... Waiting to hear back but going to guess screwed again.

Old Homelite Super XL Automatic, got it to pop on a prime shot, fuel system needs the typical fuel line, filter, carb kit and tank cleaning plus the recoil needs a rope. Texted him with an estimate.

Ordered the remanufactured ptu for the Escape.

Played with my new Echo blower and my new hats arrived.

Did some cleaning last night, had a beer while cleaning up, and looked at a pair of Echo HC-150 hedge trimmers. The orange one popped on a prime shot, so I added mix and it seems to run decent. The gray one popped as well but it definitely needs a fuel system overhaul.

Today at work I got a Yamaha 115 hp running that went under after the boat sank at the dock. Drained carbs, dried cylinders and plugs, percolated fresh mixed fuel thru the fuel system and got it running, let it run for a while to dry up the water in the crankcase etc..

Last gift from a friend who just passed. His wife gave this to me tonight for helping her sort through his shop stuff.

I asked about the saw the first time I ever stopped in his shop. He just grinned and said he couldn't sell it. Well I guess now that's going to be my line as well. In the 8+ years I knew him I never got the story why he wouldn't sell it, but I'm at peace with that. Makes for a better mystery.

Rest in peace Nick my friend.
