Quality crimps and tools really are an investment that improve quality of life.

Not that I am the biggest fan of the yellow, blue, red crimps, but good ones will have a wire snap before pull out on a tug test.

Nice crimper.
I use the uninsulated connectors and heatshrink most of the time and have the proper crimpers for each.
I use an old pair of long handled Kliens that will crimp strong enough that i can't pull the wire out with my body weight.
Cheap crimpers are not worth using at all.
The common mistake is using a connector that is too large for the wire.
Some of the ratcheting crimpers are the ticket for #12 and 10 gauge wire when doing a lot of connections.
Battery cables need a big money crimper or a well made hammer/vice type crimper.
I have a hammer type one that with #2 wire i have pulled a junk car with till the wire itself gave before the crimp pulled.
Low voltage better have a good connection or you will have problems.
Many an alternator and battery has died due to to bad battery connectors .

I think on most Stihls it is easier if you pull the handle, not the jug, but I can do it w/o pulling either but it is harder.
I would loosen the jug but not pull it off completely so as not to remove the piston from the cylinder. I think that 026 and 034 are the most difficult ones to change..

Just got a John Deere CS56
Made in Italy
Who made it?

Owner wants it just running right, whatever that means.
Looks to be in good shape more sitting in the barn than working.
I have been working on Stihls the last few months so something different may be interesting.

The more interesting part of this saw is the owner breeds German Shorthairs and a quail hunting business.
His dogs are great working dogs that i have hunted over a few times.

They're made by Efco, part of the Emak group.

Prepping a new Ranger Z521L bass boat for delivery and while getting ready to run the engine, I couldn't get the primer ball to pull fuel, definitely a fuel restriction somewhere, checked water separator, was okay, pulled primer ball off and found this rubber plug in the fuel line... removed, primed up okay, and the engine started right up!

Finished an echo 620 with the advice of @Red97 .

Odd duck for certain. No way to increase compression without freeporting, but seems to be of no detriment.

No choice but a combo popup and chamber cut. The airfilter can definitely use an upgrade, which is available through a member.

Kinda a big heavy saw for its 59cc displacement.
