I'm not a Husky guy, but some of the stock MS460s I've done with numerically high transfers seem to run very strong, so I would be inclined to leave your saw close to the #s that it has, especially since you have good experience with them in the past.

So many moons ago and hrs of reading old threads i came across one that @drf256 said the stock #'s of a 359 r hard to beat. Thats what made my decision on the 2159 i did. But i had to grind on it (being a newbie) so the lowers got hogged/gasket matched. Intake got widened and squared, exhaust got widened and squared and in take side transfers got directed more twards intake. Took a peak in the 2159 last nite and its not a masterpiece by no means. But damn she runs!

Clean up night here, organized tools, etc.
Stripped the 435 down, cleaned it, ordered a new carb for it (Amazon carb) and found I had a 16" bar for it. Hopefully in a week or so she'll be up and running! Found that someone was in it who really didn't know what they were doing.. double gasketed carb, etc..

This Stihl MS 1-whatever. 180C. Belongs to my uncle. He wants it cleaned, tuned up and the chain sharpened. Looks like it was running fine based on cylinder and spark plug, so it'll get new filters, new plug, a carb kit and maybe fuel lines. Chain looks wasted so I'm gonna get him a new one. Saw probably gets run 1/2 hour annually so it doesn't need to be a fire breathing monster.

Thanks Dan! Im going to do a lil a nite until shes done. Just like the rest. Wanna do this a lil different i think than my 2159. That way i have 2 to decide from. Ultimately this is my 2nd "practice" 359/2159. I wanna get her dialed cuz @StuntCockWelder is having me do his 2159 for him. cuz he like mine so much:D or he just has to hide a few from my sister is my guess:p

Kept a decent arch in the roof and widened port. Put my exhaust step in there and directed it to the recoil side how the factory directed the port that way. Sanded with 80 grit after grinding.
