Nowhere near as impressive as some of your guys stuff. But I think I got the bug now. Bought the 440 3 weeks ago just to cut up some firewood. Didnt have enough oomph to it. Picked up the 1st gen 550xp Friday. Really like the 550. Then picked up a 570 with low compression today. Gonna attempt my first rebuild on that. I have no need for a 70cc but I really have a want for it someone should have warned me about these things this is a dangerous hobby!!

Top end went on the 357 build along with the updated partition wall and metal clamp. Clamp gave me lots of trouble going on, must have fought with it for nearly an hour...with my fingers over the decomp port and plug hole it seems to have compression. Ended up using the base gasket. This one came in a bit dirty...

...the other half of the oily dust was already scraped off in the garbage can.

A good cleaning was in order.

I ended up replacing the starter rope, oil line, oil pump, fuel line, clutch drum, air filter, and rebuilt the fuel cap with a new duck bill valve and gasket.

All better now.

As far as I can go till I get carb kit, muffler, inner guide plate and clutch cover. Doing the 455 Rancher clutch cover upgrade on this one too. Took a compression test and she's very healthy!! KIMG1045.JPG KIMG1046.JPG KIMG1047.JPG

Still waiting on recoil parts for the 385xp I've been working on. Parts are from USA but somehow got delayed in Indy and have been there for several days...I thought it was only the Chinese that were affected by this virus but apparently the USPS is using it for an excuse also...

What numbers are you shooting for?
Im gonna sleep on it. I got another 2159 that i did for my very first "build" and its really close to that. I just did some widening and squaring and moved the exhaust up a fuzz. Its a very strong runner. Not sure i wanna get away from that or just copy it. My 2159 has no TA, so im changing things already a lil. And of course my vids of it r locked up in PooTubes vault. I kinda wanna watch um:D
