Yesterday trying to figure out what all this NOS Poulan Pioneer Partner stuff went to. Had a good idea. Today all solved.

Lot of it will go to help folks restore. Just some of the poulan I use.
Oh some weird jred 370 nos cyl too.

She popped off third pull. It was late so I didn’t want to piss the neighbours off.

All OEM except Meteor piston, caber rings, nachi bearing (1) and a couple rubber bits (chip deflector, carb box grommet)
Fuel line
Impulse line
New seals
Air filter base and air filter
Passed pressure and vac test
Compression is 155 before any run time
Base gasket delete
Squish at .025
WJ 6? Carb (new kit)

Gonna be hard to sell this one but I have other projects and don’t really need 2 of these...

Starting reassembly on the bottom end of a early 372. New oem bearings and seals. When i got this thing it was a basket case hack fest but had a new oem top end put on not long before i bought it so that was a plus.

Got the 051 into some nice hahd New England red oak after work. She does excellent. Not doing much tonight other than that and maybe some cleaning as my girlfriend and I are going out to dinner tonight for VD.

Setting up to widen the exhaust on a 029 Super to an 039 conversion. First time I’ve grinded or ground on a cylinder so I’m practicing on the burnt 029.

Just be sure to add a nice smooth bevel.

Thanks for all the advice. I think we got it this time.

Held vacuum long enough for me to feed the chickens. Final re-assembly and hopefully time for a test run tomorrow.

I think it’s for the intake block, where the bolts bolt on is the funky spots
