Did you grind a impulse passage on the 346 cylinder? It’s required to allow the impulse to work properly since the 350 and 346 cylinders have different impulse setups.
Yup. Dan ground a dimple in the riser for me.

Get a tube of the red dirko HT (stihl oem sealant that they use for 290 farmboss) or 3 bond 1184. You can find both on ebay or buy the dirko from a stihl dealer. Not cheap... but a tube lasts a long time and doesn’t harden if you put it in a ziplock bag. I’ve had great luck with those two sealants in the 350 clamshell saws or others. I can’t really comment about the other sealants, but that’s what’s worked for me.
Motoseal works on the plastic and doesn’t get hard in the tube. Nothing wrong with dirko though

This 660 still has the original china made bosch in it too. Owner said never been changed and bought after 2008 time frame. Plug still looked like new to me so back in it goes. Even though I had German, Brazil made bosch on hand and Japan made NGK's. I dont replace plugs if their still doing what they suppose to.

Issue was jelled old mix. Showed him and put e-free mix of mine in.

Reassembled the intake and carb on the 051 and it still wouldn't run but was popping out of the intake. Popped flywheel and found a broken key. Have a new key coming. I was able to extract the broken key from the flywheel and crank and there was no damage to either.

Also had a buddy of mine come over today and he brought me his XL-12 to repair that wasn't running right. Found water in the fuel, carb, and rock hard fuel line. It's getting a carb kit, intake gaskets, and fuel line. He also brought me a Homelite Super Wiz 66 gear drive and a David Bradley direct drive for my collection.

Got these 2 today.
1982 Homelite Super Wiz 66 gear drive. 77cc pulling a 20" bar with 1/2 pitch chain. Just needs a general going over.

1950s? David Bradley direct drive. 77cc with 1/2 pitch chain as well. Needs the same general going over.

Went and saw @SOS Ridgerider this morning and he gave me a hand with spinning up the 1/2 pitch .058 chain for my Sears gear drive. A couple of file strokes and some carburetor adjusting had it cutting awesome. Very slow and loud but it gets the job done! I'll take some video tomorrow.

Ohhhh yeahhhh :headbang:

Muffker is back together and on. Sounds much gooder. Removed the playdoh, cleaned and reassembled the recoil. Minus the easy spring..... And yeah man it work's soooooooooo much better!

Test and tune tomorrow. Going to hate giving this one back.
