My brother and I put together this homemade right angle porting tool (we po' folk).... The bit goes on top, the bottom shaft connects to your dremel (the tape there just keeps the bearing race in as it was a little looser than the top one). The bit is held in place by a set screw (protruding length can be adjusted). There is an o-ring down inside the body that turns things....My brother has a metal lathe and turned the mini internal pulley parts.... Initial testing is promising... What do you guys think? (The bit in it was just for testing. I'm going to order some proper carbide bits.)

As I said before this junk of Mcculloch is annoying me: the massive air leak from carb throttle shaft of previous Tillotson is fixed but probably it was hiding another issue, it runs pretty well but is unstable at idling... I have to take a look to the intake boot and its reed valve, petal etc.

If you need a more positive drive option. You can probably rob a belt system from a vacuum cleaner. Had to change them recently on my wifes. Pretty tough little belt I have to admit.

That's a really good idea, and the smart old guy at Ace sold me a package of little vacuum cleaner belts for this. Unfortunately I had to cut them narrower to fit, and they wouldn't stay in the pulley groove. They're still on the table though. Good tough belt material for sure... Thanks!

Some belts for sewing machines would work.
Narrower than vaccuum belts.
Some are round and others are like a Vbelt with the notches on the inside which help going around a tight radius/ small pulley.
Cog belt maybe the name.
Most of these belts are about 1/4" wide.

Unloaded the rest of the wood from my trailer and made some chips with the 346, 034, and the 031. Accidentally dorked the driveway a couple of times so I have some sharpening to do. I'll try to upload pictures later, Tapatalk isn't uploading pictures at the moment.
