Idk. The jms crap was all the rage a few years ago. This jug just has bridge ports added
Plus the funky intake and that notch in the exhaust. All seems kinda wonky but your probably right.

I'd just have a hard time showing a customer pics of that butchered up cylinder and handing him a bill for $500.

Totally agree. I bought a 5100 that was butchered up like that. Ran like shìt. I don’t even like adding fingers or bridges. I just believe there are better ways. But to each his own, for sure

2 successful test runs/cuts! Not sure what I'm going to dig into next.

I removed that abortion from a customer's saw. He sent it to be ported.......ran far worst than a stock saw.
Looks awful similar to this one!!

I think I have an idea who ported those and I don't think it was Phil. There was a younger guy in Myrtle Point who was porting saws for while. I have a 460 jug that
looks very similar to those but without the bridge ports that came from him. It's with Brett C. right now getting some machine work to see if it can be saved.

That's who got blamed for this one. I don't think that's true though. I do think it was passed off as one of his saws though.

I think the guy I'm talking about is named Stefan or Steven, but he's working at a bike shop in Hillsboro now.

Next up BR700. Piston pin bearing let go on this one. I’m in blower hell today. Lol

I had my BVX125 (Husqvarna blower/vac) on the bench for a while. It just quit...

After some fiddling around and when I pulled the spark plug for the second time (spark tested good with an in line tester) I took a close look, there was apparently some carbon or something bridging the gap. Cleaned the plug, put it back together and finished cleaning up the leaves that have blown in during the past few weeks.

Note to all...before you test fire a blower/vac in the shop, make sure both side of the fan are clear or you will end up cleaning leaves and other debris from the whole shop.
