Wish I had more perspective on that jug to know what I am looking at.
Thanks! I will post some more pics later, going to try and button it up later today, still have to drill Oiler holes in the piston and modify the boost window.

Awesome looking work. Them 01’s are badass, and then 2 stroke bikes disappeared for a while not many years later if I remember correctly.
Yes they are! And yep, 01 was the last year for the cr500 and the 125 and 250 were gone in 07. I have a street legal 500 and 250, think it’s about time to get rid of the 03 250. Have two spare cr500 motors...the price keeps going up, so I have been reluctant to sell

I think it was like maybe 5 bucks for me, can’t remember. I always change them on used saws. Cheap insurance. I highly recommend that updated filter for a mtronic saw that the carb is junk if it gets any debris in the solenoid.

So the updated filter is only for the moronic saws?
