Maybe this is the problem?

Yep... we often overlook the simple things and overthink stuff. Propane torch will clean that in two seconds or toss it if you don’t cut on state land.

Had one like that. Stihl 011. Burned it off on the kitchen gas stove.

Wife was away. [emoji108]
I cleaned the original with a propane torch and everything is good to go,still haven't found a fuel leak though lmao

038 build for a friend.

Figured I'd share a couple tips for the new guys that might not know.

#1
The original vent with the grub screws is almost always gone. So the standard echo vent is a nice reliable option.

I can't stand that many of the stihl oem fuel hoses do not reach the bottom of the tank. Especially when laid on the clutch side. (Felling side usually)

What I do is cut the grommet part out of the old line, and run a length of 1/8id 3/16od standard line through it. Haven't had one leak to date.

This gives you the ability to get the pickup down where it should be.

Hope this helps someone in the future.

So a McCulloch SP 125s is not a pro saw?

#Clamsneedlovetoo
Nope...send them to me! I am not a pro!:D

And you can send all 7-10 pm 700 and 82cc macs they are a true clams ( the 125 is a oddball for sure, cylinder/crankcase with removable side bearing/points box)

the homelite 450/55o are pro-clams as well

Nice find! We had an fs85r weedwacker and with the non adjustable carb it would do that to the screen too, put the fully adjustable carb and did a minor mm and never hard the problem again

I tell you honestly right now, this is the first I have ever seen one clogged up, ever! I'll try and find out tomorrow what he is running his mix at. This saw has an adjustable carb with limiters still on it though, so its gotta be the mix ratio
