I have not worked on a chainsaw for 1/2 year.
My 77 year old neightbour scored his JRed 2153 (2012 model), this was the third time it scored. Same dealer as the other times.
This time they told him no waranty left.
Lean scored, a saw who has not gone through much, made me pull the boot asap:

Not much I can do about the dealer.

Think I've stored up what he needs

I can't say anything about the first time as they did the waranty repair. Their second attempt is simple, the boot was already damaged, or they damaged the boot when they remounted it (mount the clamp, slam down the boot, tune the carb, cross fingers (ain't the first dealer and won't be the last dealer, even Husqvarna did it)).

What dealer would send one of those out with a plastic clamp after scoring? That fugger needs a :bash:
metal clamp

I have some parts for a 020t. They should work i think. Let me know what all you may need. Dont have a piston or cylinder but most all else is ther.

I'd bet carb kit...seems every used saw I see around has the same kind of bog.
Maybe this is the problem?
