Are the timing numbers the same in both doc?MS261 x 2. One V1 and one V2.
The V2 jug noticeably lighter, but at how much cooling expense? I'm sure they figured it out with some thermal wizardry.

I’m sure that they used thermal testing to figure it out. I bet thermal images while running the saw.I wonder if less mass helps the cooling. The heat might possibly be able to escape more easily. Or maybe not.
I'm running a 16" .043 3/8 Oregon 90 chain on my little Husqvarna T536 LiXP and it pulls it fine.Maybe an 18” bar might be a little much for a ms192’s clutch......and the rest of the saw while we’re at it. Lol!

Can you even fit a finger in that bore?
For those who haven’t had the opportunity, the T536liXP is a bad lil’ m’fer. We have had 5 or 6 in service for nearly two years at Schneider’s. Aside from replacing busted plastics, they have been maintainence free. The guys love’emI'm running a 16" .043 3/8 Oregon 90 chain on my little Husqvarna T536 LiXP and it pulls it fine.
