Had to pick up a new gearhead for an HT133. Old one got crushed on the jobsite. Thankfully when I went back to the dealer he had the washers and sprocket on hand. Can’t believe Stihl sells a $180 gearhead without a sprocket........Urrrggggg

Not exactly ‘on’ my bench...but I serviced this one today. It’s 21 years old this month and still runs flawlessly...I wish they still made stuff like this

My brother still cant get his JD to stay running. Tried pump, oil sender etc so far. I aint there to help.
Dad said you can feed it fuel and fire off. But wont stay running.

Dad and Mom teased him a bit.

Found a poulan at a yard sale this am. Guy new nothing about it as it was given to him from someone who had it in the barn with three other saws. Offered five bucks and she mine lol.
Got home dumped out old fuel put new in. Three pulls and its idling. Just needs a little tuning. Its lean and wants to stall if you nail the throttle. No bar with it but i got some laying around that should work.

Grease the recoil on that thing and I did this for a MMand after a retune it was a happy little tike lol.

It cleaned up nice. Was a little boggy comin back to idle. Got that tuned but its buggy in the midrange of the throttle.

I like your muff mod. I think it was you that sugested that a while back on my boys husky/ poulan 240 and it was nice and simple. Gonna do that to this one too. It could probly use a carb clean and a kit.

Local Stihl dealer told me they don't sell carb kits
Just 35.50 carbs plus tax.
I've bought kits there since the 80s

Red armor now.

Got a FS55 here, ordered a oem carb, the little check valves werent working, even after a trip to the ultrasonic, cant buy those here.
So entire carb bout $35.

Found a bar and chain. Made a couple cuts then did your muff mod to it. Shure mader sound better so its gotta be quicker lol.
