034S on my bench for a good buddy. This is a mishap I’ve never encountered with OEM parts. The piston kit from Stihl, with sealed bag containing one circlip and the new pin contained a 10mm pin (correct) and a 12mm circlip. In one pic you’ll see the smaller oem 10mm clip vs. what was supplied. Odd.

Trying to fit the clip into the 10mm tool was funny for about 10 seconds till the WTF hit me.

Picked up a nice clean ms200t for one of my tree service customers. Good runner, even had the spark screen still installed and all OEM from the looks of it......

Good thing I’ve got some inventory to pull from. I’ll be installing New OEM bearings to get the crank firmly in place and of course some performance work. Most of the aftermarket bearings have almost as much slop in them as wore out oem. Stay tuned. I’ll have a few updates in a bit

In hopes of moving into my new building at some point in the near future, I thought I should try to get some chain parts sorted out. The first two photos show the stuff I got from the Higby auction, the stuff in the cardboard box is mostly McCulloch part numbers but needs to get organized and put away too. I also have 8 or 10 bins of my own to get sorted into the mix. I will have a lot of small parts bins with chain bits by the time this project is finished.

I will have a good supply of 7/16 and 1/2" parts as well as 1/4, .325, 3/8LP, 3/8, and .404". I also have a good supply of .354 chain in both .050 and .058 gauge and connectors in the attic...I suppose I will need to get the .354 stuff in the same place as all of the other.

That's a brand new Stihl 63PM chain. Shoulda found some "speed wood" for a test cut. LOL!! After all the set backs I was ready to move on to the next one
I’ve found a 200 runs just fine with a muffler mod.
That and I can hardly fit muh finners in there to port one anyway. Lol
