@Dub11, if you go to jacks small engine and put the pto bearing part number in, you get several parts under the same number one is a “Poulan” bearing that is $10 cheaper. Funny thing is that’s what I ordered and got a factory sealed husqvarna original parts bag, I said was the exact same bearing.

Purchased a k095 bar on fleabay a few years back...dirt cheap... Fits the 490 without any mods to the bar.....that's my workbench. 10-12 tanks through that saw and it keeps getting stronger.

Love the 064s. Where did you'rs wind up on squish without the base gasket? Mine is right at .019 and is very happy at that.

It wasn’t even hitting the solder I have with the gasket. Without it was .020-.021.

Iirc with that order from jacks...I ordered both. The more expensive one and the cheaper one. What showed up were 2 identical husky bearings basically proving there is no point in buying the more expensive one

That's the insert from hlsupply ...tap is m10x1.25 put in with jb weld. Hopefully it'll hold a top cover now. Hehe

I did grind the insert to accept a flat blade and it worked a treat.

Thanks for the help with that insert. I like that the threads are no longer mag and steel now, much stronger.

Just 35.50 carbs plus tax.
I've bought kits there since the 80s
So amazon 12.00 it was and two day's later. awesome stihl ultra 50/1 in a low hour 55r
