That’s one of the negatives about inboard clutch saws and almost no one cleans them out like they should be regularly. That gunk holds in heat too."Won't oil"
No kidding?!
Pile is what I scraped out that didn't blow off with air.

Yeah, tree service saw I sold them a couple months ago, was a total rebuild and spotless when they got it.That’s one of the negatives about inboard clutch saws and almost no one cleans them out like they should be regularly. That gunk holds in heat too.
How are the G111's working out ?These ended up on the bench last night.

I was told they didn't idle or oil....How are the G111's working out ?
Sir your magic wand is very powerful. [emoji3526]From thisView attachment 169726To thisView attachment 169724It’s still ugly but it runs! View attachment 169725
And I am saving this for spares!
Sadly I am use to that too. Never believe a thing on used equipment.Finished up a 262. Unfortunately, the “runner” I bought wasn’t exactly that. The 87 carb won’t hold pressure at the seat.
I’m getting used to this at this point, although it’s always irritating.

Thanks for the tip.I built one of the kit 200t and had issues with it oiling at first. It would oil but not enough and once you started cutting chain would be to dry, pump wasn't pumping enough took apart and found pump body or plunger was not machine correctly and didn't have the proper throw and plunger was also loose in bore. Had a good used pump so put that in and oiled better but still seemed lacking so looked a little closer and found oil slot on crankcase bar mounting pad did not line up properly with hole in bar, probably only a 1/16 to 1/8 of hole for oil to flow. So took the bar and used a over sized bit and dimpled the oil hole so it now connected to oil grove in saw and that finally fixed the problem. Have seen that on a few of my different china saws
I decided pimp my muffler on my 268/272 chinese mutt.

Thats with the H needle all the way in.
WTF.
It was fine last time I ran it..
Is it pissed it has a pink muffler?
Carb problem?
Thoughts?
I have a China carb that I had on previously. It ran fine, but throttle opening felt like it had a "notch" to it that annoyed me.
