What's For Supper?

Went to a little Italian place that everything is home made. I’m stuffed and on the couch for the night in a food coma

Fresh back strap with a little seasoning salt and some green beans. ( been awhile overdid em a lil )

Not supper...had the munchies a little while ago so I figured a little brunch was in order. Scarfed it all with about half a gal of milk, and now can’t seem to get my ass outta the recliner!

I was planning on about the same, after moving and stacking a cord of wood this morning. I started around 8am and planned on being done by 10am. One of my neighbors got his 2wd tractor stuck in the bottom of a ravine and I ended up going over to pull him out. What appeared to be a 20 minute job, turned into three hours. I just got into the house after finishing moving and stacking the wood.
No brunch but I did get two of these.

Pickle brined buttermilk fried chicken breast, on a homemade biscuit with garlic pickles. My fiance saw it on a day time TV show she watches before work. I did a few things different but they were darn good!

Wife threw a roast in the crock pot this morning with carrots and potatoes. We have been eating great this week. Burgers Monday bbq chops last night. The rest of the week will be left overs since we have a bunch and the wife is going out of town. I’m going to do a meat loaf or stew on Sunday for her return home

Crock pot is a staple here, Mama loves to do the crock pot! ( esp. chicken )
