Nuttin like cast iron food taste so much bettaNot supper...had the munchies a little while ago so I figured a little brunch was in order. Scarfed it all with about half a gal of milk, and now can’t seem to get my ass outta the recliner!

Sounds happenin'...no doubt!Spinach and Ricotta Raviolis, with butter and parmesan cheese. Along with some fresh dinner rolls.
College daughter and one of her roommates (roommate had a Dr's appt locally) came by and ate with me yesterday evening. They wanted breakfast so I scrambled a dozen eggs with melted mild cheddar, lb of bacon in a big 14" skillet, grits with butter and same melted, grated mild cheddar, and toast with butter and jelly. I damn near passed out in the recliner after a couple of plates of that stuff washed down with about half a gal of milk.

...excellent! You ever get by Academy and pick up any of those Fiesta brand seasonings? Ain't the best, but will definitely suffice.Eat more chicken![]()
Agree on the country ham (here in GA we've always called it Talmadge Ham, but the same thing) and red-eye gravy...and sling in some big ol' cathead biscuits!Breakfast goodness! Nothing like it. (But I do love some country ham and red-eye gravy)
