No pics but i blackened some snapper fillets on cast iron griddle. With peanut oil had some yellow rice and a nice salad

Not supper...had the munchies a little while ago so I figured a little brunch was in order. Scarfed it all with about half a gal of milk, and now can’t seem to get my ass outta the recliner!

Had a little snack of smoked summer sausage and crackers before supper, which ended up being frozen pot pies.

College daughter and one of her roommates (roommate had a Dr's appt locally) came by and ate with me yesterday evening. They wanted breakfast so I scrambled a dozen eggs with melted mild cheddar, lb of bacon in a big 14" skillet, grits with butter and same melted, grated mild cheddar, and toast with butter and jelly. I damn near passed out in the recliner after a couple of plates of that stuff washed down with about half a gal of milk.

Breakfast goodness! Nothing like it. (But I do love some country ham and red-eye gravy )

Agree on the country ham (here in GA we've always called it Talmadge Ham, but the same thing) and red-eye gravy...and sling in some big ol' cathead biscuits!

I did pick up some seasonings. Tasting, testing and trying to come up with something I really like. (old redneck rule -- don't serve it if you don't really eat it).
