My grandkids fixed us supper. Baked taters, new york strips on the grill, and a good salad.

We had a big mother's day lunch so I only had a chicken salad sandwich, chips and a piece of pecan pie for supper.

I didn't think about taking pics, but I had a cheeseburger and footlong hotdog from the little ice cream shop in town.

That looks a heap better than what I had yesterday evening…six gut-wrenching Del Tacos, two Del Beef and Cheese Burritos, and loaded nachos from Del Taco. I’ve never used the word Del so many times in one sentence in my life.

Worked for my neighbor again he smoked chickens,ribs and wings all day
It was delicious

Last evenings main course, did the ribs and some sweet corn on the grill, and some potato salad from the weekend.
Dry rubbed, and a 3.5hr indirect slow cook on the weber kettle. A couple of handfuls of apple and cherry chips for the smoke. I wanted to do cherry and pecan, but was out of pecan, next time I'll hopefully be better prepared.

Got the grilling bug. Brats and a porter tonite. Had some of the dry rub seasoning left from the ribs, works excellent on the cow. And I had picked up some pecan word for the smoke flavor today. We were not disappointed. Indirect cook/smoke on the weber again.
