I have been using the husqvarna xp force and the Oregon platinum gator line.
I really like the xp force for a lot. The platinum I think cuts sharper but doesn't seem to him up as well as the xp force.
Her it is tearing some stuff up!

The xp force is green and the platinum gator line is the blue.

I just have an older fs80 ,reg 2 stroke with the handlebars ,it pulls the .105 pretty good ,the saw shop had an echo spool head ,i really like that thing ,holds 6 feet of .105 ,and do not have to poke the starter end of the line in like a stihl ,it has a hole bored right through the spool ,so one solid 12 foot chunk of string to reload it .
Love the echo/shindaiwa speedfeed head. Time saved is money saved.

There are Chinese speedfeed heads now for sale on eBay. Bought 5 small and 3 large ones, Near exact copies but not as good quality. I wear one out every two months or so. Square line eat up the insides of them so round is all I use.

That's the best trimmer head I've ever used and doing this commercial I have tried alot of them. I remove all guards/line cutters and run .080 line to be able to run a longer string to keep rpm's up at the same time cutting a bigger swath. The guards keep the string cut too short for my liking. I like the echo or Shakespeare line in the 80 size, cuts better imo.
