What oil is best? and what ratio?

My kids want to know when I'm going to play, they love smelling it too !!

I've got a ton of 2 cycle oil now .............. probably wont use it all in one year, and probably wont use some of it at all.
I like 2R .............. just about no smell and once its warm, there really aint no smoke.

I use 32:1

but I heard the cool guys use 80:1 or 100:1 amsoil

I agree that 32-40:1 is very safe. I have 2 pieces of ope running amsoil saber pro at 100:1 for about 1 year now as a torture test. They both still run. One is a poulan 3314 saw wind a pp blower. Oddly the strata saw has alto more wet looking bottom end then the reg 2 stroke blower. Either way these 2 will live and die on 100:1. How long who knows but I can't wait to find out what does them in.

Cam 2 110ll is not oxygenated

You have to go to the 112 or 114 octane to get the E fuel.
I've run rocket, never have cam2.
Think they are bracketed very similar.

thought i would share how i get nasty 2 cycles cleaned up that i buy specially lawn boys this stuff works the best cleaning out the insides.
* if people would run good oil in equipment i wouldn't have this problem.

@jake wells I ran Klotz (good erl) for about a year and it still leaves a mess, 40:1. This saw was actually a tad lean for a while to cut cookies.


You can really see where my solder pulled carbon. What a mess.

I ran super tech. Lots of carbon.
Ran R50. Lots of sludge.

I won't mess with klotz or any other oil than dominator now.
Stuff is amazing..
