This is a good oil if you could get it at a good price. I burned through 5 quarts of this whenever I got it for $2 each and I can buy it full price here for about $10 a quart. Clean burning, hardly any smell or smoke.
Last I knew Citgo made all of Mercury/Quicksilver's lubricants.Citgo and Mystic both market really good yet cheap Air cooled two cycle oils also.

My old timer neighbor swears by Penzoil tcw rated @1oz per gallon in all his 4T's kept 'em healthy.is there a 2-stroke oil that would do a really good job of cleaning carbon from vavles and pistons in a 4-stroke engine? at any mix ratio maybe 100:1 or leaner?
You would probably have a better chance of cleaning it using Redline SI-1 then using a 2-stroke oil. Chevron Techron, Gumout Regane or any other product using polyetheramines do a better job of cleaning out the combustion chamber.is there a 2-stroke oil that would do a really good job of cleaning carbon from vavles and pistons in a 4-stroke engine? at any mix ratio maybe 100:1 or leaner?
